The new site has been carefully designed and built with the user in mind. We have taken on board many of our customers’ comments and have tested the new site to ensure that you can do the things you want to do and find the things you want to find quickly and simply.

Details have been announced for the seventh season of The Companion Chronicles, the Big Finish audio range which follows the Doctor’s companions in brand new, exciting adventures.

As Nick said might be the case in last week's podcast, we are sorry to have to announce a delay to the launch of our new website. At Big Finish we are always striving to make things better for you, our loyal listeners, and while in the final phase of testing the new site we realised that we had an opportunity to do just that.

It was inevitable really, wasn't it? We couldn't really have a whole series of Fourth Doctor Adventures without him battling his greatest foes, could we? Yes, this month's release sees Tom Baker and Louise Jameson (as the Doctor and Leela) face off against the Daleks.

The Wanderer finds the First Doctor and the original TARDIS crew of Ian, Barbara and Susan in 19th century Siberia, and there are some very high stakes indeed. With the Doctor and an increasing number of the locals afflicted by a strange illness, Ian teams up with a pilgrim named Grigory in the search for a cure. But that search brings Ian closer to a prize he's sought since he and Barbara first stepped on board the TARDIS: a way home...

It is with sadness that we report the passing of Jonathan Frid, who died peacefully last week at the age of 87. As vampire Barnabas Collins, he created a truly enduring character and cemented Dark Shadows' place as a pop culture phenomenon. Big Finish was lucky enough to work with Jonathan on the 2010 audio drama The Night Whispers, which featured his one and only return to the role that made him famous.

There are some similarities and some differences between this and the old site. For example, subscriber bonus material can now be found listed under the release with which the material came, rather than as a separate entity. However, now there are more ways to filter and search your account, you should be able to find things much more easily.

The final main range mini-series of 2012 has been confirmed, and it forms a sweeping storyline, with each story focusing on a different Doctor.
