Tom Baker and Mary Tamm star in this Doctor Who full cast audiobook

The cover of Doctor Who full cast audiobook The Auntie Matter has been revealed.

Big Finish is delighted to announce that its licence with AudioGO to make Doctor Who on audio has been extended up to December 2015.

“I’m so excited that we can continue our voyages with the Doctor for at least another three years,” says Big Finish executive producer Jason Haigh-Ellery, “and so pleased that AudioGO and the BBC continue to trust us with the telling of these stories.”

Big Finish is enormously saddened to learn of the passing of Mary Tamm, aged 62, who played Romana alongside Fourth Doctor Tom Baker.

The Doctor Who main range subscriber special for 2012 is Night of the Stormcrow, a two-part story starring Tom Baker as the Fourth Doctor and Louise Jameson as Leela.

This month, the Doctor's infamous 'Moriarty', the Master returns to face Tom Baker's Fourth Doctor in Trail of the White Worm.

It was inevitable really, wasn't it? We couldn't really have a whole series of Fourth Doctor Adventures without him battling his greatest foes, could we? Yes, this month's release sees Tom Baker and Louise Jameson (as the Doctor and Leela) face off against the Daleks.

This weekend is Gallifrey One, the biggest Doctor Who convention in the world. The Con is held annually in LA and this year guests include Big Finish executive producers Jason Haigh-Ellery and Nicholas Briggs, plus writer/director Barnaby Edwards, writer Richard Dinnick and Big Finish companions Beth 'Raine' Chalmers, Lisa "Flip' Greenwood and Philip 'Hex' Olivier.
