Magnus Greel – aka the murderous Chinese god Weng-Chiang – is returning to Doctor Who this year to menace the 5th Doctor in a new audio adventure from Big Finish.

Recording is underway on Doctor Who: The Butcher of Brisbane by Marc Platt, in which the Fifth Doctor, Tegan, Turlough and Nyssa take on Magnus Greel in a prequel to The Talons of Weng-Chiang.

To celebrate Davros’s return to Doctor Who audio drama in this month’s The Curse of Davros, all of the Dalek creator’s previous Big Finish outings will be for sale at just £5 each on CD or download.

Recording has now been completed on Doctor Who: Love and War, a full-cast adaptation of Paul Cornell's classic New Adventures novel, featuring the introduction of Professor Bernice Summerfield.

Over 30 guests will be attending Big Finish Day 2 on Saturday 11 February, a big BF celebration organized by tenthplanetevents.co.uk.

This weekend is Gallifrey One, the biggest Doctor Who convention in the world. The Con is held annually in LA and this year guests include Big Finish executive producers Jason Haigh-Ellery and Nicholas Briggs, plus writer/director Barnaby Edwards, writer Richard Dinnick and Big Finish companions Beth 'Raine' Chalmers, Lisa "Flip' Greenwood and Philip 'Hex' Olivier.

Ian Hogg, who memorably played Josiah Smith in the TV story Ghost Light, has been reunited with Sylvester McCoy and Sophie Aldred in Protect and Survive, a new Doctor Who audio play from Big Finish. The story, by Jonathan Morris, also stars Elizabeth Bennett (Calendar Girls) and Peter Egan (Ever Decreasing Circles), and kicks off a pivotal mini-series for the Seventh Doctor and his companions.

The Emerald Tiger - out now! A brand new trilogy of adventures starring Peter Davison as the Fifth Doctor begins this month, and once again he's joined by Janet Fielding, Mark Strickson and Sarah Sutton as Tegan, Turlough and Nyssa!

Star Trek: Deep Space Nine star in Doctor Who Audio.

Chase Masterson, who played Leeta in Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, has teamed up with Sylvester McCoy as the Doctor in the forthcoming main range audio The Shadow Heart.

Chase plays Vienna Salavatori, who is described on the script front as 'an impossibly glamorous mercenary'. Those who meet her don't tend to stay alive...
