We're pleased to announce that the upcoming vinyl edition of Doctor Who: The Light at the End will now also have a download version available as an extra on release. The Light at the End is, of course, our 50th anniversary story, featuring the first eight Doctors in a fight against the Master, and is schedule for release in November.
Executive producer Nick Briggs explains: 'A number of people have been in touch with us, concerned that there is no free download available with the special limited vinyl edition of our 50th anniversary Doctor Who story The Light at the End. We initially thought of this as something a collector would buy, so we perhaps wrongly assumed that whoever bought it would also have bought a CD or a download additionally. We hadn't bargained on people buying it but never playing it. In the light of this, we'll be attaching a download version of the audio content of the vinyl edition as part of the 'Bonus Content' section alongside the release in the My Account section of the website. The download will be available when the vinyl version is released.'
You can pre-order one of the 500 limited edition vinyl copies of The Light at the End now.
In this podcast, Nick Briggs is poised at his microphone, ready to be give an in-depth interview about Big Finish's re-imagining of The Prisoner.
