Following on from the recent success of The Confessions of Dorian Gray, Big Finish Productions is thrilled to announce that Alexander Vlahos will be reprising the role of Dorian in a further series, but also the next instalment of the Big Finish Classics range: an adaptation of Oscar Wilde's notorious novel The Picture of Dorian Gray.
'It made so much sense to tackle the book,' says producer and director Scott Handcock. 'Part of the joy of the series was remaining true to the spirit of Oscar's work, which still packs a punch even a century down the line, and it was nice to challenge Alex with the ultimate Dorian experience, as it were. He admitted feeling a bit guilty for cheating on the series, but it's a fantastic script from David Llewellyn, and everybody had a ball bringing it to life!'
Miles Richardson takes on the pivotal role of Lord Henry Wotton, with Marcus Hutton as Basil Hallward, and other guest cast soon to be announced. Meanwhile, Alex and co return to studio this weekend to continue the next series of Confessions, which promises shocks, scares and songs!
