For The Love Of StoriesBig Finish produce fantastic full-cast audio dramas for CD and download.

Released today, two new audiobooks by Jack Gerson, directed by John Ainsworth, and narrated by Dan Starkey, The Assassination Run and The Treachery Game are ready to blow you away!

The wife of Mark Fraser, a former British agent, disappears while shopping in a remote Highland village - kidnapped by a group of ruthless terrorists.

Desperate to rescue his wife, Fraser attempts to unravel a tortuous web of intrigue and violence. His mission takes him to the tourist resorts and remote mountains of Southern Spain where he meets many old acquaintances from MI5, and the KGB. There he learns that to save his wife, he must kill an innocent man.

When a mysterious girl murders a British biochemist in France, former British agent, Mark Fraser, on holiday nearby, is framed for the murder and forced to go on the run. His only hope is to discover the reason for the biochemist’s death.

Fraser’s search for answers leads him into a web of intrigue, treachery and murderous mayhem. Behind the killing is the shadow of a horrifying secret, so frightening in its implications that the Intelligence agents of three great powers are desperate to obtain it.

Jack Gerson originally wrote these novels but he was also regarded for his creation of the late 1970s BBC TV show The Omega Factor starring James Hazeldine and Louise Jameson, which has been continued by Big Finish with Louise Jameson reprising her role, co-starring with John Dorney. The Omega Factor TV show aired for only ten episodes - due to the objections of public moralist Mary Whitehouse, who described it as “thoroughly evil”. Gerson took this as a testament to his writing ability. Read more on this here.

Both these stories are available at £9.99 per download, exclusively on the Big Finish website. Or you can save by purchasing together as a bundle at £16!

If you enjoy these releases, don't forget to check out Gerson's other novels at Big Finish, The Fetch (read by Carolyn Seymour) and The Evil Thereof, read by Barnaby Edwards, both available for download at £9.99 or as a bundle for £16.
