For The Love Of StoriesBig Finish produce fantastic full-cast audio dramas for CD and download.

Fans of The Omega Factor - both the original BBC TV series, or the acclaimed Big Finish full-cast audio continuation - will already be aware of the sinister worlds talented writer Jack Gerson's work creates. Coming in March are audio readings of The Fetch and The Evil Thereof by Jack Gerson, read by Carolyn Seymour and Barnaby Edwards respectively.

As producer David Richardson comments: "When we started work on The Omega Factor, Natasha Gerson very kindly sent me a couple of her father’s novels as an example of the kind of stories he liked to tell. And I thought, ‘Why has no one ever done audiobooks of these?’ And so we have, with two brilliant readers - Carolyn and Barney, who do a magnificent job of leading us through these dark, unsettling mysteries..."

The Fetch:

It's the 1980s and Alistair Matheson is forging a quietly ambitious path in Government. All is going to plan until a brief encounter with a man who looks exactly like him throws Alistair's ordered world into chaos. As this doppelgänger crosses his path time and again a series of events are set in motion with increasingly disturbing consequences. Is this double a spy? A conman? Or could he be something infinitely more sinister?

The Evil Thereof:

Tasked by his news editor to come up with a sensational article about old, unsolved murders, reporter Eric Braden finds himself in rural Warwickshire, investigating the horrific death of a local lothario, whose body was surrounded by pagan symbols.

The detective from the original investigation is now a broken man and reluctant to tell his story but there are others who demand answers, even all these years later. As Braden delves deeper, encountering hostility and denial at every step, he soon realises that village life is not as innocuous as the locals would have him believe and that something unimaginably dark still resides here, waiting to be released…

Both The Fetch and The Evil Thereof can be bought on download for £9.99 each, or collected together in a bundle for £16. If you're using the free Big Finish Download/Playback App for Android or Apple devices you will be able to listen wherever you are (please note these will be large files, and users should be wary of bandwidth usage).

The Omega Factor - Series 2 starring Louise Jameson and John Dorney comes out in April. Check out entire range of releases here.
