In 1979, supernatural series The Omega Factor sent chills down the spines of the nation.

This August, 36 years later, it’s back, on audio for The Omega Factor: Series 1 - with Louise Jameson returning in the role of Dr Anne Reynolds, who has been promoted to the head of Department 7, a government initiative committed to the study of psychic and supernatural phenomena.

Department 7 has been deemed an anachronism by the government, who is preparing to wind it down -- but this might change when a young man called Adam (John Dorney) enters Anne’s life. Adam is the son of her former partner Tom Crane.

As they investigate demons and darkness, Anne and Adam are pushed to the brink of their abilities. Meanwhile, in a church in Edinburgh, something terrible waits...
