Revealed today is the cover for 1001 Nights, December's main range full cast audiobook release which stars Peter Davison as the Fifth Doctor (seen on TV between 1982 and 1984) alongside his companion Nyssa (Sarah Sutton).

Doctor Who: 1001 Nights is a full-cast audiobook anthology release with a difference; featuring four tales, they all form part of a larger narrative as Nyssa is forced to tell a series of stories in order to keep the Doctor alive...

Written by the team of Emma Beeby and Gordon Rennie alongside solo efforts from Jonathan Barnes and Catherine Harvey, Doctor Who: 1001 Nights is directed by Barnaby Edwards and features a fantastic group of guest stars including Alexander Siddig (best known as Dr Bashir from Star Trek: Deep Space Nine), Nadim Sawalha (Syriana, The Hour, and father of Nadia and Julia Sawalha) and Malcolm Tierney (Doctor Who's Vervoid segment of The Trial of a Time Lord and Lovejoy's nemesis Charlie).
