Writer of Doctor Who – Time Lord Victorious: The Enemy of My Enemy Tracy Ann Baines Tracy Ann Baines said: “I am absolutely thrilled to discover that Tracy Ann Baines has been nominated in the Scribe Awards. My first ever Big Finish adventure and what a privilege and honour it was to have been involved in the Time Lord Victorious project. Thanks and respect to all the Big Finish actors and production team for bringing this episode to life so brilliantly and in the midst of a pandemic!”
Doctor Who – Time Lord Victorious: He Kills Me, He Kills Me Not writer Carrie Thompson added: “I am shocked that He Kills Me, He Kills Me Not has been nominated! Everyone at Big Finish worked so hard to make this happen, and I am sure Brian the Ood will be delighted too!”
Writer of Doctor Who: Out of Time 1 Matt Fitton said: "It is an honour to be in the running for a Scribe Award alongside such brilliant fellow nominees, showcasing a range of storytelling. In difficult times, people rely on drama more than ever to escape, and bringing together two of Doctor Who's iconic stars to battle an iconic enemy was such fun and a huge privilege.
“That we completed this production during lockdown shows the innovation and talent at Big Finish - thanks to all the actors, musicians, sound designers, directors and producers, and everyone else behind the scenes who have kept on telling stories.”
Torchwood: Save Our Souls writer Scott Handcock said: “What a lovely thing to wake up to on a Tuesday morning – and in such fine company! I’m extremely proud of our work on the Torchwood audio series, so it’s a joy to fly the flag (alongside Tim Foley’s glorious Tropical Beach Sounds) and showcase the marvellous Rowena Cooper as Queen Victoria.”
Writer of Torchwood: Tropical Beach Sounds and Other Relaxing Seascapes #4 Tim Foley added: “I’m delighted about the nomination and thrilled for the whole team. This is much better than a trip to an actual tropical beach – not that I’ll ever visit one again, thanks to Sir Michael Palin’s brilliantly terrifying performance.”
