For The Love Of StoriesBig Finish produce fantastic full-cast audio dramas for CD and download.

“We are the forgotten women, Helen. Ignored. Put down. Never allowed to prove our worth. And yet together… together… we can be the most important people in history.”

In the epic finale of Doom Coalition, the Doctor lost one of his companions. Helen Sinclair (Hattie Morahan), an academic from 1960s England, was left trapped in time and space with the Eleven (Mark Bonnar), a mad, homicidal Time Lord retaining the personalities of his previous multiple regenerations.

Now, the Eighth Doctor (Paul McGann), joined by Liv Chenka (Nicola Walker), must hunt through time and space on two missions: to find their fallen companion and friend Helen, and to stop the Eleven by any means. But Helen isn’t the same person she was since we last saw her…

“Once again we have an over-arching storyline that will encompass four box sets of four stories each,” says producer David Richardson, “but it’s somewhat looser in structure than Doom Coalition. There will be standalone stories that have nothing to do with the overall arc – but along the way we’ll be teasing and building to something bigger further down the line."

Four new thrilling audio adventures await the Eighth Doctor in Doctor Who – Ravenous 1.

1. Their Finest Hour by John Dorney
2. How to Make a Killing in Time Travel by John Dorney
3. World of Damnation by Matt Fitton
4. Sweet Salvation by Matt Fitton

"The Doctor will cross multiple timelines, and meet old acquaintances and familiar foes in these adventures, including ally Sir Winston Churchill (played by Ian McNiece) and (as a sweet treat for classic Doctor Who fans) the return of the Kandyman from TV episode The Happiness Patrol.

“I was really eager to bring back the Kandyman,” says David, “but I thought that this time we could return to Graeme Curry’s original vision for the character. This Kandyman is a saccharine scientist in humanoid form – and you’ll discover the reason for the difference within the story. He’s played by Nicholas Rowe – whose recent work includes DaVinci’s Demons and The Crown.”

Doctor Who – Ravenous is available for pre-order now. You can order box sets one to four individually at £23 on CD or £20 on download, or all four box sets together in a bundle at £90 on CD or £80 on download.

Ravenous 1 will be coming out in April 2018. Ravenous 2 follows in October 2018, with three and four being released in 2019.

And don’t forget you can hear the Eighth Doctor’s exploits in The Time War 1, starring Paul McGann as the Doctor and Rhakhee Thakrar as his companion Bliss, out now from Big Finish.
