The clock is ticking for the Star Cops
With Earth on the brink of war as factions spar over dwindling mineral resources, the International Space Police Force – also known as the Star Cops – are caught in the middle of the action.
The audio drama miniseries Star Cops – Conflict continues today, with the release of its penultimate instalment, Tick Tock, by the Emmy award-winning writer Roland Moore. In this thrilling episode, the ISPF’s own headquarters faces deadly peril.
When Commander Nathan Spring (David Calder) receives an anonymous threat to destroy Moonbase, he faces one of the most difficult challenges of his career. The countdown is on, and lives are at stake…
Star Cops – Conflict: Tick Tock is now available to purchase for just £8.99, as a digital download to own, exclusively here.
As tensions escalate between the superpowers back on Earth, Nathan finds that Moonbase is in grave danger.
But can he trust an anonymous warning enough to order an evacuation or is it just a bluff?
If he gets it wrong, his decision could have catastrophic consequences for everyone on Moonbase.

Tick Tock also stars Linda Newton as Chief Superintendent Pal Kenzy and Trevor Cooper as Inspector Colin Devis, roles they first played in the original 1987 Star Cops TV series. And, the cast includes Philip Olivier as Inspector Paul Bailey, Gaby French as Vanessa Wayland, Ben Miles as Howard Lesser, and Jessica Martin as Alexandra Myers.
Script editor Andrew Smith said: “Tick Tock is effectively the first half of a two-part finale to the Conflict set. This is a story arc where the stakes have never been bigger. We’re talking about a potential world conflict where the tensions are playing out in space and the Star Cops are right at the sharp end.”
Writer Roland Moore added: “Star Cops is a wonderful and unique series. I love the mix of police drama and hard science fiction. And as a writer pitching ideas, it’s great that your starting point is always, ‘How would this crime actually work on the Moon?’”
“For this one, Andrew had sketched out an idea so epic that it was difficult not to get swept away with excitement. I know people want clues and hints about what happens, but I’m sorry, all I can say is it’s epic. The cliffhanger is big. It’s a gamechanger. And I can’t say any more or the Star Cops will arrest me.”
Please note: this release contains adult material and may not be suitable for younger listeners.
Star Cops – Conflict will conclude in November with Final Gambit.
The complete Star Cops – Conflict series bundle is now available to pre-order for just £50 (as digital downloads to own), exclusively here.
All the above prices (including pre-order and multibuy bundle discounts) are fixed for a limited time only and guaranteed no later than 31 December 2026.
