Two new Doctor Who Audio Novels

Big Finish Productions’ popular range of Audio Novels set across the Doctor Who universe is set to return soon with two brand-new novel-length audiobooks. 

October 2026 will see the release of The Missing Hour, which stars the very first TARDIS team. It’s a character-centred story, focusing on Barbara Wright as she takes an opportunity to meet her father when he was young – and before he went missing in action. Written by Simon Guerrier, from a story by Guerrier and Fio Tretheway, it’s narrated by the experienced audiobook reader Barnaby Edwards. 

Then, in January 2027, The Bath Chronicles will be released. Following the Paternoster Gang members Strax and Jenny as they are flung across time and re-unite with both the Eleventh and Twelfth Doctors, this is a thrilling adventure with rich comic moments. It’s written and narrated by Dan Starkey, who played Strax in TV Doctor Who and continues to develop the role for Big Finish. 

Doctor Who – The Audio Novels: The Missing Hour and The Bath Chronicles are now available to pre-order as digital downloads to own for £19.99 each, exclusively from www.bigfinish.com. June 1940 and the island of Malta is under constant bombardment.

Will Jenny ever find a decent cup of tea again? Will Strax find a plug socket that’s compatible with his Sontaran travel charger? And will time itself collapse? 

Along the way though, they’ll be reunited with two familiar Doctors...
