Wild at Hearts

The Doctor (Jo Martin) is on the run, wanted by her former employers Division – and her memories of working for the mysterious Gallifreyan agency are missing. She’s spent a lot of time running, but now, she’s ready to turn around and fight.
In The Fugitive Doctor: Running Wild, a brand-new box set of three audio drama episodes now available, the Doctor travels to a temple floating in space occupied by a dream-walking tiger and to a library where the whole universe is chronicled, all in search of answers about her past.
But enemies are on closing in, from the recently regenerated Division agent Cosmogon (voiced by Absolutely Fabulous and The Young Ones star Helen Lederer) to the evil Daleks (Nicholas Briggs). And then there’s the mysterious Man in the Grey Suit (Nicholas Asbury).
If the Doctor can survive their attacks, she may just find out who she really is…
Doctor Who – The Fugitive Doctor: Running Wild is now available to purchase for just £19.99 (download to own) or £29.99 (download to own + collector’s edition CD box set), exclusively here. Please note: the collector’s edition CD box set is strictly limited to 1,000 copies and will not be re-pressed.
The three high-stakes audio drama episodes are:
Tholos by Alex Hewitt
To uncover the secrets hidden within her mind, the Doctor voyages to the Temple of Lucidity – a great tholos floating through space – where a multicoloured tiger will teach her the secrets of the mystical dream-language of Oneira.
But are the Arkiris Tiger’s motives pure? How has the Doctor’s dogged pursuer, Cosmogon, managed to follow her here? And why does Cosmo have a new face?
Scripture by Katharine Armitage
In the Scripture System, temporally unbound scribes chronicle the history of the universe: everything that has been, everything that is, and everything that will be. They're the people with the answers and the Doctor has some very big questions for them. But so do the Daleks…
… and if the metal-plated conquerors from Skaro are ever going to dominate the universe, they’re going to have to do something about someone whose name begins with ‘D’.
Genesis of the Doctor by Rochana Patel
All stories have a beginning, but some are shrouded in myth and legend, and lost to the mists of time…
What you need is a living witness. And a mind probe.
And the Doctor will soon have both…
This time, one way or another, she will have her answers – but is she ready for them?

The guest cast of The Fugitive Doctor: Running Wild includes Shogo Miyakita, Steven Elder, Jessica Dennis, Rachel Bavidge, Ewan Goddard, Django Bevan, Rebecca Crankshaw, and Tobias Forbes.

Script editor Robert Valentine said: “I love working on the Fugitive Doctor range, in part because we know so little about this incarnation of the Doctor... except, of course, that we do. She may put on a tough front, but however much she protests, she can’t help helping wherever she goes. And as a fugitive on the run for a crime she didn’t commit, we’re now at the point in her story where she’s going after the person she thinks is responsible.”
Rochana Patel, writer of the box set’s final episode, added: “Genesis of the Doctor is a deliberately provocative title. I’d promised myself if I ever got the opportunity to write for the Fugitive Doctor again, I’d swing big, really big! So, rest assured, the story delivers on its promise.
“In the early episodes of the range, there was a commitment to making everything grey, hazy and mysterious – in line with the Fugitive Doctor’s first appearance on TV – but it made a lot of the audience doubt they’d ever be shown anything of consequence or see any real world-building. So, this story is my attempt to correct that misconception; to show just how much we can do. I wanted the Fugitive Doctor in titanic battles at the dawn of time against unimaginable foes, with Division knee deep in the terror and chaos.”
Doctor Who – The Fugitive Doctor: Running Wild is now available to purchase for just £19.99 (download to own) or £29.99 (download to own + collector’s edition CD box set), exclusively here.
All the above prices (including pre-order and multibuy bundle discounts) are fixed for a limited time only and guaranteed no later than 31 January 2027.
