CD re-releases of download-only audios

Following listener demand, recent releases from Big Finish’s Doctor Who audio drama ranges The Eleventh Doctor Adventures and The Twelfth Doctor Adventures, which were previously only available as downloads, will be re-released as collector’s edition CD box sets, with brand-new bonus material.

Additionally, the upcoming Torchwood: Legacy is now available to pre-order as two three-disc collector’s edition CD box sets.

These CD releases follow listener feedback regarding these particular ranges, and there are no plans to re-release other download-to-own titles on CD.

Full details on each release follows.

The Eleventh Doctor Adventures

The first two volumes in the range The Eleventh Doctor Adventures will be re-released as a single six-CD box set, The First Question & Hidden in Plain Sight, in January 2027.

This will come complete with new and exclusive bonus material: a fold-out poster with a timeline of the Doctor and Eleanor’s adventures, plus a download of a new Eleventh Doctor Short Trips story, read by lead actor Miles Taylor.

The Eleventh Doctor Adventures: The First Question & Hidden in Plain Sight is now available to pre-order for £54.99.

Please note: this collector’s edition CD box set is strictly limited to 1500 copies and will not be re-pressed.

The Twelfth Doctor Adventures

The six-episode miniseries The Twelfth Doctor Adventures: Run Fast, Be Kind will be re-released as a single six-CD box set in July 2027. This will come complete with new, exclusive bonus material.

The Twelfth Doctor Adventures: Run Fast, Be Kind is now available to pre-order for £54.99.

Please note: this collector’s edition CD box set is strictly limited to 1500 copies and will not be re-pressed.

Torchwood: Legacy

The upcoming miniseries Torchwood: Legacy, due to be released in two volumes in September and October 2027, previously only available to pre-order as digital downloads to own, is now also available to pre-order as collector’s edition CD box sets, at the following pricing:

• Each of the two volumes is available to pre-order individually as a CD box set for £29.99.
• The two volumes can be pre-ordered together as a multi-buy CD bundle for £56.
• Customers who previously ordered the individual box sets as downloads can upgrade to CD box sets for £10 each (plus postage).
• Customers who previously ordered the two-volume digital download bundle can upgrade to the two-volume CD bundle for £18 (plus postage); please check your email inbox for details how to do this or contact sales@bigfinish.com with your order number.

Please note: the collector’s edition CD box sets are strictly limited to 1500 copies each and will not be re-pressed.

Due to the additional content, production and manufacturing costs, we are unable to offer an upgrade-to-CD option to listeners who previously purchased the Eleventh and The Twelfth Doctor Adventures box sets.
