2008 Subscriber Special - Return of the Krotons

This year’s Subscriber Special audio adventure will feature the return of the
Krotons, a race of monsters that made their first (and last) appearance in 1968.
Nicholas Briggs has written the script and will be directing the story, which features the popular pairing of the
Sixth Doctor and his new travelling companion
Charley Pollard.

The Krotons are an example of a Doctor Who monster that has often been laughed at, mainly because they were a bit visually disappointing due to budgetary limitations of the day. As has often been said, your budget for visuals on audio is limitless, and the Krotons are rather fascinating. I thought they deserved better representation!’
