Fans of Ciara Janson, who plays the Fifth Doctor’s Tracer companion Amy in the
Doctor Who: Key 2 Time stories, can see her live on stage in
New Boy at Trafalgar Studio 2, Central London from 19 March to 11 April 2009 (previews from 17 March).
The play, which also stars Nicholas Hoult (
Skins) and Mel Giedroyc, tells the story of a schoolboy crush and its terrible consequences. Mark starts sixth form knowing this is his last chance to impress - to be more popular, more obnoxious, the best informed about gynaecology. The mesmerizingly good looking Barry seems to be having trouble making friends. Everyone is afraid of him. He could be the perfect ally in Mark's mission to enhance his social status and finally lose his virginity.
