Frazer Hines

Frazer Hines started his acting career early in life, appearing alongside Charlie Chaplin in the film A King in New York at the age of 13. In 1966, he was cast in Doctor Who as highlander Jamie McCrimmon, who was meant to be a one-off character but instead joined the regular TARDIS crew, travelling with the Doctor until 1969 and appearing in more episodes than any other companion. Hines later starred in Emmerdale Farm from 1972 to 1994. He first returned to play Jamie on audio for Big Finish in 2007.
