The Seventh Doctor Adventures: Silver and Ice brings back a Doctor that listeners has been missing in two very different stories that have their own identity...The different natures of the stories will appeal to two very different audiences, so there’s something for nearly everybody. 7/10

Indie Mac User

Silver and Ice succeeds in both recreating and subverting exactly what you’d expect from more adventures for the Seventh Doctor and Mel... For anyone who appreciates the fierce imagination and bold extremes of the early Sylvester McCoy era, the set is a chance to revisit an aspect of Doctor Who rarely explored these days.

Interlude: The Haunting of Bryck Place.

Sophie Aldred takes the narration of the story and she does wonderfully... Georgia Cook’s script does something a little different, explores an early adventure for Ace where the Doctor isn’t attempting to manipulate her for one of his grand schemes. 8/10.

Indie Mac User

With sparkling dialogue and some of the best audio cliffhangers, this is that rare thing of a sequel being almost as good as the original. Sustaining the interest throughout its two hour running time, its an engaging listen and a treat for the ears, with great performances all round. Highly recommended.

We Are Cult

Silver and Ice absolutely delivers on its premises and promises, and gives you a cracking pair of fun McCoy stories, with twinges and pulls of a darker Doctor to come... 35 years on from Season 24, Silver and Ice proves the spirit of the time is still able to produce impressive, enjoyable Who that pushes all the right silly, shocking, comic, dramatic buttons.
