Davros enters the Doctor Who 60th anniversary audio adventures

Terry Molloy joins the cast of the epic full-cast audio drama marking 60 years of Doctor Who. Does Dalek-creator Davros hold the key to the mysterious weapon which injured the Doctor during the Time War? Or is he pursuing a more terrible agenda?

Sylvester McCoy stars as the Seventh Doctor in A Genius for War, alongside Ken Bones as the Time Lord General and Beth Chalmers as Commander Veklin.

In the midst of the Time War, the Time Lords have received a communication from Falkus, the prison moon of Skaro. Its sole inmate, Davros, wishes to make them an offer.

He will help them win the Time War... but only if the Doctor comes to his rescue.

Doctor Who – Once and Future: A Genius for War, written by Jonathan Morris, is now available to pre-order as a single-disc collector’s edition CD (+ download for just £10.99), or digital download only (for just £8.99), exclusively here.

Terry Molloy said: “The thing I’ve always said about Davros and the Doctor is that they have a kind of a touching respect for each other as well as hatred because they know they’re both on the same intellectual level. And they know they’re both alone.

“So, for them, and for me, the joyous bit is the intellectual chess game they play with each other, as to who’s going to win, rather than the bangs and the whistles. At the end of it, it’s all about the battle of minds.

“Sylvester McCoy and I have worked together many times in the past. We have known each other for a long time, way before Doctor Who. It’s always great fun to get together with him again.”

Doctor Who fans worldwide can pre-order a bundle of all eight Once and Future audio adventures for just £72 (on collector’s edition CD and download) or £60 (download only).

A special edition series bundle, which contains extended behind-the-scenes extras and music suites for each story, is also available to pre-order for just £62 (as a digital download only).

All the above prices include the special pre-order discount and are subject to change after general release.

Please note that Big Finish is currently operating a digital-first release schedule. The mailout of collector’s edition CDs will be delayed, but all purchases of this release unlock a digital copy that can be immediately downloaded or played on the Big Finish app from the release date.
