But Christmas can be difficult when your family is prone to conflict, and that’s certainly the case for King Henry II (Kevin Mathurin), whose royal court the time travellers arrive in, just as his estranged queen Eleanor of Aquitane (Debra Baker) shows up for the holidays. 

And as if the disagreements within the royal family aren’t enough to deal with, there’s a dangerous alien intruder hiding among the court…

I feel like on this job we’re collecting people, and it’s very lovely and exciting. This story had elements of The Haunting of Villa Diodati, and I was excited to practice my French!”
