Pathfinder Legends, based on the best-selling Pathfinder roleplaying game is due to commence bi-monthly release from February with Rise of the Runelords, a series of six full-cast audio dramas that feature the heroic adventures of Ezren, Valeros, Merisiel and Harsk in the world of Golarion, populated by elves, ogres and dragons. Each release, available both on CD and for download, is a self-contained adventure, but each story leads into the next, building to an exciting climax in the sixth and final instalment.
Pathfinder Legends is produced by Big Finish in partnership with Paizo, who publish the roleplaying game. Originally intended to be released from January, the schedule for the series has been put back by one month so that the fourth instalment can be released at GenCon in August, where Paizo will be exhibiting.
Details and the cover image for the opening Pathfinder Legends: Rise of the Runelords story, Burnt Offerings, have now been added to the site, and the plays are available to pre-order now.
It's ten years since Nick Briggs became co-executive producer of Big Finish Productions. His friends and colleagues celebrate this fact in a not entirely serious tribute.
