We love StoriesBig Finish produce great full-cast audio drama for CD and download, featuring many popular television fantasy series.

Coming in July 2016, Doctor Who: Classic Doctors, New Monsters Volume 1 is a box set of four new stories pitting the Fifth, Sixth, Seventh and Eighth Doctors against creatures from the New Series of Doctor Who.

Judoon in Chains by Simon Barnard and Paul Morris sees Colin Baker's Sixth Doctor land in Victorian England, where he finds a Judoon Warrior imprisoned in Jonathan Jaggers Esq's travelling freak-show! But Captain Kybo is a Judoon with a difference...

The Judoon have been a recurring part of the Doctor Who universe since their first outing in Russell T Davies's Smith and Jones – appearing as recently as Series 9's Face the Raven. The Rhino-headed stormtroopers will once again be voiced by the master of monsters and Big Finish Executive Producer Nicholas Briggs.

'It was such a thrill to be a Judoon or two again.' says Nicholas. 'It's been a while, and this time there were great challenges in this rather lovely script by Simon and Paul'.

Join Colin and Nicholas are Trevor Cooper (Star Cops, Doctor Who: Revelation of the Daleks, Inside No. 9) as Jonathan Jaggers Esq, Kiruna Stamell (Moulin Rouge!, Cast Offs, All the Small Things) as Eliza Jenkins, Tony Millan (Citizen Smith, Alexei Sayle's Stuff), as Justice Burrows and Nicholas Pegg (Doctor Who, The Plotters) as the Business Owner.

'I love this script.' says director Barnaby Edwards. 'The Judoon fit perfectly into the Victorian era: freak shows, celebrated legal cases, late-Gothic literature, burgeoning theories on liberty and an individual's rights, and so on. I'm delighted with the cast, too. They all bring a reality and a necessary humanity to these towering nineteenth-century archetypes. And Nick Briggs gives a frankly astonishing performance as Kybo.'

'How brilliant to be able to take a hugely popular monster like the Judoon, and have them in a Sixth Doctor story.' says Producer David Richardson. 'These Classic Doctors, New Monsters stories have been such an exciting prospect to work on, and the four stories contract beautifully.'
