Doctor Who - UNIT: Dominion has been one of the most hotly anticipated Doctor Who releases from Big Finish for quite a while, with many of our loyal customers writing in to ask us just when it would finally be released. Now it's out there, we thought we'd let you know what some of our listeners have been saying.
'Thanks to Alex Mallinson's brilliant design work, we've been giving people a glimpse of the characters from Dominion,' says executive producer (and co-writer of the story with Jason Arnopp) Nick Briggs. 'It seems to have created quite a buzz.
'We know it's sometimes a challenge for people to decide what to buy, so we thought it might be helpful for undecided listeners to read an early snapshot of what people are saying about this special box set.'
Bohen Merchant @bomerchant UNIT Dominion was a brilliant story! Keep it up!
Michael Chappell @TheGenetrash The SkyHeads sound absolutely fantastic and bizarre. I want one.
domvar @domvar Just finished UNIT Dominion absolutely marvelous all 4 hours in one sitting.
The universe stands on the brink of a dimensional crisis – and the Doctor (Sylvester McCoy) and Raine (Beth Chalmers) are pulled into the very epicentre of it.
Meanwhile, on Earth, UNIT scientific advisor Dr Elizabeth Klein (Tracey Childs) and an incarnation of the Doctor she's never encountered before (Alex Macqueen) are tested to the limit by a series of bizarre, alien invasions.
At the heart of it all is a terrible secret, almost as old as the Time Lords themselves. Reality is beginning to unravel and two Doctors, Klein, Raine and all of UNIT must use all their strength and guile to prevent the whole of creation being torn apart.
Nick Briggs and Benji Clifford once again host a podcast packed with all that's new in the audio drama world of Big Finish. Special guest: Samuel Barnett (star of Dirk Gently and Cicero).
