Coming Thursday April 7th, The Avengers – Steed and Mrs Peel: The Comic Strip Adaptations Volume 1 collects together four full-cast audios adapted from the classic comic-strips of Diana magazine. Based on the classic ITV spy series, Julian Wadham and Olivia Poulet star as John Steed and Mrs. Emma Peel, specialist agents dedicated to defending the United Kingdom from the world's most colourful criminals.

Ahead of the set's launch this week, Big Finish is pleased to make available a 15 minute extract from the volume's second story The Miser. Adapted by Simon Barnard and Paul Morris, this exciting adventure puts the Avengers on the trail of 'the Miser', a terrifying extortionist ready to threaten all of Britain in his ambitious scheme.

The Avengers – Steed and Mrs Peel: The Comic Strip Adaptations Volume 1 can be pre-ordered today from the Big Finish website in a bundle with Volume 2 and a graphic novel collection of the original comic-strips. As with the majority of Big Finish releases, a complimentary digital download is included with all CD orders (with a PDF of the graphic novel also included).

UK customers can enjoy free postage on Volume 1 when they pre-order before Thursday.
