Designed by Simon Holub, the cover portrays the stars of the four new adventures – Frazer Hines, Anneke Wills, Deborah Watling and Wendy Padbury – as well as two mysterious characters from stories in the set.

Pictured unveiling the cover are Frazer Hines and Deborah Watling, who this week were in studio recording the third story to be completed, directed by Big Finish legend Lisa Bowerman. Written by range producer Ian Atkins, The Story of Extinction brings them together to tell of an adventure for Jamie and Victoria during their travels with the Second Doctor.

'As with all the stories in this set, it looks at a significant aspect of Jamie's time with the Doctor,' says Ian, 'And in this case what it's like to be thrown together with someone of your own age, and how you think of each other. All the while finding yourselves on a idyllic planet where nothing lives for long...'

'Deborah and Frazer were superb in studio, and it's been a thrill to be able to listen to such a classic period of Doctor Who being revisited. There's such a fondness for that era with the actors: it's very hard to describe getting them into studio as work!'
