Big Finish are pleased to announce that anyone buying Doctor Who – The Companion Chronicles: The Second Doctor Volume 1 (released this month at £20 on CD, £15 on Download) will get exclusive extra content in the form of all four scripts as PDF downloads, and a 24 minute music suite download specially assembled by composer Benji Clifford.

Hearing this suite reminded me of being back in the 1980s with my Doctor Who – The Music album never quite leaving the turntable!'

Released later this month, Doctor Who – The Companion Chronicles: The Second Doctor Volume 1 features four new stories featuring the Second Doctor and his friends, with Frazer Hines playing Jamie and the Doctor throughout the set as we journey along with a young Scotsman on the journey of a lifetime. 1960s companions Ben, Polly, Victoria and Zoe are along for the ride, courtesy of Anneke Wills, Deborah Watling, Wendy Padbury and Elliot Chapman (taking on the role originally played by the brilliant Michael Craze), in a celebration of fifty years of the Second Doctor.

Until its release, UK postage is free on all pre-orders. Anyone buying through the Big Finish website will not only get the scripts and the music suite for free, but anyone buying on CD will unlock an instant download, enabling them to be listening to the adventures within minutes of a purchase.
