This weekend the Big Finish team are busy enjoying the Official Doctor Who Festival at London ExCel. A very big thank you to everyone who's come to see us – we hope you all had fun!

The event caps off a fantastic week for Big Finish, which began with the long awaited release of UNIT: Extinction – the first Big Finish release from the New Series of Doctor Who!

The new box set continues the battles of Kate Stewart (Jemma Redgrave) and Petronella Osgood (Ingrid Oliver) as they lead the UNIT team in the fight against the Nestene Consciousness (voiced by Nicholas Briggs). Featuring an all-star cast including Warren Brown, Ramon Tikaram, James Joyce and Steve John Shepherd, UNIT: Extinction is available to buy and download today for just £20 – with a special bundle of all four UNIT: The New Series box sets also available.

As well as these two new releases, we've also revealed new information for three upcoming adventures. John Hurt will return to the Time War in Doctor Who – The War Doctor 1: Only the Monstrous in December, with new story details now online (as well as a couple of hints for Doctor Who – The War Doctor 2: Infernal Devices).

Then in January, John Barrowman returns as Captain Jack Harkness in Torchwood: Uncanny Valley in January– which showcases the rogue Time Agent's unique interrogation techniques. Check out the new cover online now.

Finally in March 2016, River Song (Alex Kingston) joins the TARDIS crew for a rematch with The Eleven (Mark Bonnar) in Doctor Who: Doom Coalition 2 – which will also feature the return of the Voord! The new box set comes hot on the heels of the release of January's Doctor Who: The Diary of River Song Series 1, which also features Paul McGann as the Eighth Doctor.
