The guest cast of The Dalek Eternity 3 includes Simon Kane as Gelwen, Rachel Atkins as Tam, Niamh Cusack as the Oldest, Tom Kiteley as David, and Chandrika Chevli as Umith. 

Producer James Goss said: “My heart sings whenever I talk about Quisling. It has Sophia’s complicated dismantling of the psychology behind those familiar Dalek tropes of an occupied world and a doomed rebel leader. What would happen if the rebel leader just refused to die? Where does the story go? The answer is, some very complicated places.” 

And, the second episode’s writer Tim Foley said: “We Don’t Talk About Mavic Chen is the calm before the storm. It’s a small cast story, with a little twist at the end that tips us into the finale.  

“We saw a lot of potential with Sidney Chen as a character. Sidney is someone who longs for the Daleks as they used to be, shall we say. He’s a very silly and ridiculous character, but that makes him very dark and dangerous.”
