There seem to be two main issues affecting US customers when they buy by credit or debit card on the Big Finish site. One is that US credit card companies often have very high security safeguards which prevent US card holders from buying from 'foreign' sites. If you're having trouble purchasing from us as a US credit or debit card holder, it is always worth contacting the Fraud Department of your credit card company to have your purchase cleared.

The other issue involves the two-digit state code which the online Sagepay form asks for. Sagepay is the company which processes our payments for us. We use Sagepay so that our site doesn't hold any confidential financial information. It's safer for you.

Recently, Sagepay has stipulated that all US customers enter their two-digit state code. Many US customers are not used to doing this and some are not aware of what their state code is. So for the convenience of anyone who is not sure, here is a list of all US State codes. Please note, that these two-digit state codes must be entered in upper case (CAPITAL LETTERS).
