The Mayfair Monster is a special two-part adventure written by Alexander Vlahos and Jolyon Westhorpe, and explores how Dorian deals with the fallout from the turn of the year 2000. Guest stars for the story include Colin Baker (Doctor Who), Hannah Spearritt (Primeval) and Bernard Holley (Z-Cars).

The story will be available to download from Saturday 28th December 2013 (episode one) and Saturday 4th January 2014 (episode two), and can be pre-ordered now for £5, rising to £7.99 upon release. It will also be included as part of the special CD box set The Confessions of Dorian Gray: The Complete Series One and Two.

'Ever since the series made its debut last year, people have been asking for a physical release,' says producer Scott Handcock. 'We resisted for a long while - wanting to experiment with the download-only format - but finally, we've relented and pulled everything we can into a bumper ten-disc box set! It's got every episode to date, including the specials; not to mention the Bernice Summerfield crossover Shades of Gray, a CD of James Dunlop's impressive soundtrack plus a few other little oddities along the way!'

The Confessions of Dorian Gray: The Complete Series One and Two is due for release in January, and is available to pre-order now for £25, rising to £30 upon release. Please note, though, that this box set will not come with a free download of the stories.
