As previously announced, while the UK remains in lockdown due to the coronavirus pandemic, Big Finish is releasing free downloads of full-cast audio dramas – or #lockdownloads – for a limited time. 

Every Monday, a new story (or episode from a box set collection) can be downloaded for free exclusively from the Big Finish website’s Weekly Deals page.

Each freebie can be unlocked by anyone who has registered for a Big Finish account (which is free to create) and played on the Big Finish listening app (which is free to install). Accompanying each free release is a selection of discounts on related titles.

Bernice Summerfield: Closure 

Originally released in August 1999 as part of the Buried Treasure subscriber-only anthology, Closure was one of Big Finish’s very first original stories about our beloved Benny. Written by Paul Cornell, directed by Gary Russell and featuring Lisa Bowerman and Sarah Mowat, it features danger, darkness and moral dilemmas. 

The Time-Rings: given to Benny and her ex-husband Jason as wedding rings, they are two extraordinarily powerful devices which, used together, can take them anywhere in time and space.
