The Emerald Tiger - Out Now!

17 April 2012

The Emerald Tiger - out now! A brand new trilogy of adventures starring Peter Davison as the Fifth Doctor begins this month, and once again he's joined by Janet Fielding, Mark Strickson and Sarah Sutton as Tegan, Turlough and Nyssa!

The trilogy begins with The Emerald Tiger, a rip-snorting old-style adventure in the Indiana Jones/King Solomon's Mines mould set in Calcutta, where the Doctor's desire to catch a spot of live cricket leads him and his companions into a dangerous encounter with a variety of deadly creatures - some human, some animal, some... who knows?

Writer/director Barnaby Edwards has assembled a stunning cast for this one, including Cherie Lunghi (Excalibur, The Monocled Mutineer, Secret Diary of a Call Girl), Sam Dastor (I, Claudius, The Secret Life of Peter Sellers, Spooks), Vincent Embrahim (The Kumars at No 42, After You've Gone, The Old Guys) and Neil Stacy (The House of Windsor, Duty Free, The Pallisers) - not to mention the acting debut of one Benedict Briggs, son of our esteemed executive producer...

With more action than you can shake a precious jewel at, The Emerald Tiger is not to be missed! It can be bought on double CD or download now, or you can take out a subscription which includes it. And don't forget: if you subscribe to 12 CD releases, you can choose a bonus single CD worth £10.99 or less as well - which includes either of the subscriber-only stories, The Four Doctors and The Five Companions...
