This week the Big Finish team have been recovering from an amazing time at the Official Doctor Who Festival. We had a fantastic time meeting our listeners and enjoying the wonderful exhibits on display. Back at Big Finish Towers, the finishing touches have been added to a long awaited release. Production on The Prisoner: Volume 1 has now been completed, ahead of its release in January 2016! Mark Elstob stars in this reimagined version of the ITV classic – with the first and final episodes featuring an extended 80 minute running time! Check out our brand new teaser trailer below:

This isn't the only special preview we've released this week. Exclusively debuted by our friends at the Radio Times, we're delighted to unveil the first ever clip of David Tennant and Catherine Tate at Big Finish in Doctor Who: The Tenth Doctor Adventures! Lifted from Jenny T Colgan's Doctor Who: Time Reaver, this sneak preview features a crash landing and a clothing crisis! Listen below:

We're also pleased to announce that our Doctor Who - The Tenth Doctor Adventures: Volume 1 (Limited Edition) box set has now been expanded, with an additional documentary disc examining Doctor Who at Big Finish! The disc will be included with all orders placed to date, with the box set still available to pre-order now - but hurry, copies are selling out fast!

Earlier Doctors have also been enjoying new adventures, thanks to three brand new releases! The Sixth Doctor (Colin Baker) and Constance Clarke (Miranda Raison) have faced a snowstorm in Arizona in Doctor Who: Shield of the Jotunn, while Jo Grant (Katy Manning) has found her role as the Third Doctor's companion threatened in Doctor Who: The Other Woman, our latest Short Trips release. For those curious about these download-only releases, this week saw teasers uploaded for all eleven stories to date.

The Second Doctor's Early Adventures have continued with the release of Doctor Who: The Black Hole – where Jamie (Frazer Hines) and Victoria (Deborah Watling) begin to discover their fellow traveller's secrets, with the aid of the mysterious Constable Pavo (Rufus Hound). This rather special new title by Simon Guerrier has been surprising fans all over the world – but we're not going to give away any spoilers here! Order today, and discover the top-secret cliffhanger we've been planning for years!

The Second Doctor's travels will continue in January with Doctor Who: The Isos Network. Although originally slotted for December, we've moved the release back to allow it a little extra time in the post-production process – meaning the Cybermen's latest invasion will sound more explosive than ever!

We've also been honoured to receive four nominations in the prestigious BBC Audio Drama Awards. Competing for the title of Best Online Only Audio Drama are The Judgement of Sherlock Holmes, Dark Shadows: Bloodlust, Survivors: The Hunted (part of Survivors: Series 2) and The Omega Factor: The Old Gods (part of The Omega Factor: Series 1). Our congratulations to the teams behind these fabulous releases – you're all winners in our ears!
