Another packed week of Big Finish goodness has come to an end; with the universe saved more times than we can count!

We woke up on Monday to the end of everything with the release of Doctor Who: The Two Masters; the highly anticipated conclusion to our latest Main Range trilogy!

Starring Sylvester McCoy, Geoffrey Beevers and Alex Macqueen, this new story by John Dorney sees the very first Big Finish team-up between two incarnations of the Doctor's arch enemy. With shocking reveals and stunning schemes, this new story has already gone down as a Doctor Who classic, with Mass Movement committing that it's 'A fantastic story that's packed to the roundel shaped rafters with action, treachery, betrayal, sabotabe, dastardly apocalyptic schemes and bang on target classic Doctor Who cliff-hangers.'

Just 24 hours later John Dorney was at it again with the release of his new Fourth Doctor Adventure Doctor Who: The Trouble With Drax. Featuring the return of Gallifrey's greatest cockney Drax (Ray Brooks), the new story offers even more time-travelling mayhem, with a plan that you won't know is coming! Listen to a preview below:

We capped off this week's releases on Thursday with the launch of our latest Monthly Short Trip. Doctor Who: Lost and Found is a new story by Penelope Faith, taking place in a familiar department store in 1948. The Second Doctor, Ben and Polly find themselves caught in an unusual war; one that will lead to important life lessons for a lost little girl. Listen to an excerpt below, and download your copy for just £2.99. Entire series of our Doctor Who Short Trips can be bought as Subscriptions and Bundles at money-saving prices.

Could we possibly fit anymore exciting Doctor Who news into one week? Of course we could! On Wednesday we were pleased to announce that Matthew Waterhouse will be reprising his role as Adric for the first time in the Doctor Who Main Range. He'll be joining his television co-stars Peter Davison, Sarah Sutton and Janet Fielding for three new stories beginning in January 2017.

You can find some teasers for these new releases on our product pages here, alongside newly announced details for the Sixth Doctor (Colin Baker) and Constance Clarke's (Miranda Raison) next trilogy of adventures. We've also unveiled the cover for December's first Novel Adaptations release Doctor Who: Original Sin and a gripping new trailer for Doctor Who: Casualties of Time, the grand finale to the Fourth Doctor Adventures Series 5.

Away from the Worlds of Doctor Who, lovers of the post-apocalypse will be pleased to hear that pre-orders are now available for Survivors: Series 6 and Series 7. Both new box-sets will contain four original stories based on Terry Nation's classic drama. If mystery is more your thing, than a lovely new cover for The Sacrifice of Sherlock Holmes is also now online, along with further details of the Great Detective's next investigation.

A quick tech update for smartphone users; listeners using the Big Finish Android App will have noticed a range of issues with our current version in recent days. On the advice of our tech team, we've had to withdraw the app for download from the Android App Store until these problems can be resolved.

An entirely new Android app is now in development and will meet the same high standard set by the recently released iOS version. Our apologies to any of our listeners affected; we'll be bringing you further news as soon as we can.

That's all for today, but stay tuned; because next week sees a celebration of old friends; the unveiling of our top secret Doctor Who Novel Adaptation (check out Doctor Who Magazine #501 for the first details) (Update: Sorry - it turns out there's an extra week to go!); and the eagerly-awaited release of Doctor Who – The Companion Chronicles: The Second Doctor Volume 1, featuring four authentically Sixties adventures. Listen to a trailer below:
