War and Peace Charity Concert Featuring David Troughton

War and Peace Charity Concert Featuring David Troughton

24 April 2014

On Saturday 10 May, David Troughton will perform a series of readings with the acclaimed Warwickshire choir, the Saint James’s Singers, accompanied by the Fine Arts Brass Ensemble at St Mary's Church, Warwick. Read on for a special offer...

The concert is being given in aid of St Mary's Capital Campaign to help provide funds for the restoration of the medieval Beauchamp Chapel. The programme includes music and readings that reflect several aspects of war - solemnity, suffering and death, heroism and sacrifice; but also the humour that was generated out of adversity.

The Saint James’s Singers will already be familiar to Big Finish fans as the choir who contributed their stunning, atmospheric vocals to Her Final Flight in 2004. Tickets for the concert (£20/£15 adult, £5 child) are available now from the box office (07502 939498).

As a special offer, anyone contacting the box office who quotes ‘Big Finish’ will be entitled to purchase 2 tickets for the price of 1! Additionally to this, between now and Friday 2nd May, anyone who purchases Her Final Flight from Big Finish will be entitled to a FREE ticket (worth £15)!
