For the next 24 hours only – special offer prices on our award nominated titles, included Doctor Who, Dark Shadows and Pathfinder Legends.
Acknowledging excellence in this very competitive field, the International Association of Media Tie-In Writers’ Scribe Awards honour licensed works that tie in with other media such as television, movies, gaming, or comic books. They include original works set in established universes, and adaptations of stories that have appeared in other formats and that cross all genres.
For the second year running, Big Finish is delighted to find the Short List for the awards' audio category entirely made up of our titles, with five releases competing for the final prize awarded in July at San Diego ComicCon – and for the next 24 hours, you can enjoy exclusive discounts across all of our nominations.
Our first nomination is Dark Shadows: Bloodlust, our acclaimed mini-series by Alan Flanagan, Will Howells and Joseph Lidster. Continuing the story of the classic horror-soap opera, the story's thirteen episodes were released bi-weekly in early 2015, and are available to order as part of two collected CD sets, which can be purchased for £20 each on both CD and to download.
Next we have a fellow Dark Shadows entry from Doctor Who Short Trips' author Penelope Faith. Dark Shadows: In the Twinkling of an Eye continues the story of Jessica Griffin (Marie Wallace) when a mysterious stranger walks into her bar. You can enjoy this Dark Shadows Audiobook release for the low price of £5 on CD or £2.99 until tomorrow!
The third nomination is Doctor Who: The Red Lady by John Dorney, part of Doctor Who: Doom Coalition 1. This gripping episode introduced the Eighth Doctor (Paul McGann) and Liv Chenka (Nicola Walker) to Helen Sinclair (Hattie Morahan) and pitted the travellers against one of the most terrifying and unusual creatures to have appeared in our Doctor Who audio dramas. The first box-set from our epic new Eighth Doctor saga can be yours for £20 on both CD and to download.
Our second Doctor Who nomination is for Jonathan Morris' adaptation of Doctor Who: Damaged Goods, based on the novel by Russell T Davies. This dark and terrifying story sees the Seventh Doctor (Sylvester McCoy) joined by his New Adventures companions Roz Forrester (Yasmin Bannerman) and Chris Cwej (Travis Oliver) on the trail of a deadly alien drug – while a infinitely powerful force lurks on a housing estate. You can get your own copy of this influential story for just £10 on both CD and to download.
Finally, straight from Paizo Inc's fantastic range of role-playing games, Pathfinder Legends – Mummy's Mask: Empty Graves is our fifth nomination. Written by Cavan Scott from a story by Crystal Frasier, this two-disc fantasy epic pits Valeros (Stewart Alexander), Ezren (Trevor Littledale), Harsk (Ian Brooker) and Merisiel (Kerry Skinner) against the hordes of the Undead, when they find themselves on the trail of the Forgotten Pharaoh. Follow their journey for only £10 on CD and download with our special offer.
These offers must end at noon Thursday May 5th, so order now! As with the majority of Big Finish releases, CD orders for all these stories contain a complimentary digital download: so you don't need to wait to enjoy the stories!
Congratulations to all our talented writers and producers nominated... may the best audio win!
