In October 2018, Big Finish released The Eighth Doctor Adventures – Ravenous 2 box set, and at the end of its first story, Escape from Kaldor, companion Liv Chenka (Nicola Walker) left the Doctor (Paul McGann) and the TARDIS behind for a year.

Her subsequent adventures, during which she reunited with estranged sister Tula (Claire Rushbrook) on their home planet, have unfolded over five volumes in the audio range, The Robots.

We know what happens right at the end of that year, and now we’re going to hear more of the events leading up to it.

Claire Rushbrook added: “It's got all of the thrill and danger and excitement that you'd expect, but it's a continued exploration of their relationship. It's beautifully, subtly written, but absolutely to the point. They're very good scripts.”
