For The Love Of StoriesBig Finish produce fantastic full-cast audio dramas for CD and download.

This weekend saw almost the entire Big Finish team on duty in sunny Slough, meeting our wonderful listeners at Big Finish Day 8! We had a fantastic time chatting to everyone and revealing some of our secrets for 2016 – thank you to everyone who attended or who followed the action online via Facebook, Twitter and Periscope. And if you missed any of our exciting reveals - you've come to the right place!

First up, John Hurt's War Doctor will be meeting an old friend in Doctor Who – The War Doctor 4: Casualties of War when Leela (Louise Jameson) returns to the TARDIS for a desperate mission in the heart of the Time War. This February 2017 box-set can be pre-ordered today for just £20, or together with the entire War Doctor saga in a special bundle. And for an extra preview - check out the teaser below!

While the Doctor is off defending the Universe, Earth finds itself under attack from a new and relentless enemy in UNIT: Shutdown, available in May. The Tengobushi have deadly plans for Kate Stewart (Jemma Redgrave), Osgood (Ingrid Oliver) and their team – and it has something to do with the ambitious Felicity Lyme (Alice Krige). You can pre-order the May 2016 set today, or pick up an bundle of all four sets, including UNIT: Extinction.

UNIT's precursors will also be back in action – as Simon Williams, Pamela Salem, Karen Gledhill and Hugh Ross all return to the Intrusion Counter-Measures Group in The New Counter-Measures Special. This two-disc special can be pre-ordered today alongside The New Counter-Measures: Series 1 as part of a bundle.

And beyond both UNIT and Counter-Measures, the Torchwood team start Series 2 of their new audios dramas – including Naoko Mori as Toshiko Sato in Torchwood: Zone 10! The series will also see a 19th Century team up between Captain Jack Harkness (John Barrowman) and Queen Victoria (Rowena Cooper) in Torchwood: The Victorian Age, with Tom Price returning as Sergeant Andy later in the series! We've also released the trailer for next month's Torchwood: More Than This, featuring Eve Myles as Gwen Cooper – listen below:

But outside of the worlds of Doctor Who, we also have an exciting message beamed straight from the Liberator...

Blake's 7: The Liberator Chronicles Volume 12 will be released in April 2016, and details for the first story in the box-set are now online. You can pre-order your copy here.

Last but certainly not least, we were also delighted to announce that Mark Elstob will be returning to the Village in 2017 for The Prisoner: Volume 2. This new set of four more stories will continue from the cliffhanger ending to The Prisoner: Volume 1, and is available to pre-order now for just £25 on CD and £20 to download. More details will be coming soon.

And all of this comes after an amazing week of new releases! The Fifth Doctor (Peter Davison) enjoyed a Dutch holiday in Doctor Who: The Waters of Amsterdam, the Fourth Doctor (Tom Baker) faced an invasion by radio in Doctor Who: Wave of Destruction, the Second Doctor (Frazer Hines) fought a rematch with the Cybermen in Doctor Who: The Isos Network – and finally, Winston Churchill (Ian McNeice) returned in four new stories featuring the Ninth, Tenth and Eleventh Doctors in Doctor Who: The Churchill Years Volume 1. All of these titles are available to download from the Big Finish website today.

That's all for this week – we're all going for a well deserved lie down! But join us tomorrow for the first of the week's releases – Torchwood: Uncanny Valley! We'll leave you with its trailer – plus a few others that have been released this week!
