Another bumper week of Big Finish fun has come to a close, featuring a bounty of sparkling new Doctor Who releases; along with the reveal of the long-awaited release date for Doctor Who: The Tenth Doctor Adventures!

David Tennant and Catherine Tate will return to the TARDIS as the Tenth Doctor and Donna Noble on Monday May 16th 2016; just under a month away! In three fantastic new stories by Matt Fitton, Jenny T Colgan and James Goss, this beloved pair will take on the Koggnossenti, the Vacintians and Donna's new mother-in-law! These eagerly-awaited releases are available to pre-order today as both individual CDs or as a Limited Edition box-set, the contents of which are explored in our new video trailer:

To celebrate both the upcoming set and David's birthday tomorrow, we've reduced his classic Big Finish appearances this weekend to special offer prices. Featuring Dalek Empire 3, UNIT, The Adventure of Luther Arkwright and more, check out our full list of offers here.

And as an extra special treat, we've also released a new behind-the-scenes video featuring David and Catherine, discussing their return to Doctor Who. Watch using the player below:

The classic Doctors have also been well represented this week with three brand new releases! The Two Masters trilogy is finally upon us, starting with the release of Alan Barnes' Doctor Who: And You Will Obey Me – starring Peter Davison as the Fifth Doctor and Geoffrey Beevers as the Master.

Beginning a blockbuster event that continues with May's Doctor Who: Vampire of the Mind and concludes in June with Doctor Who: The Two Masters, this new story has already been receiving highly positive reviews, with Planet Mondas awarding it a 'Masterful' 10/10.

Next the Fourth Doctor (Tom Baker), Romana (Lalla Ward) and K9 (John Leeson) continued their battle on the planet Aoris, in Jonathan Morris' Doctor Who: Legacy of Death.

Featuring a brilliant guest cast, including Simon Rouse, Tom Chadbon and Emma Campbell-Jones, this exciting new title follows on from the events of last month's Doctor Who: The Paradox Planet, creating an epic time-travelling saga told in the spirit of Season 17!

Our final release this week is straight out of the Virgin New Adventures novels, with a full-cast adaptation of Mark Gatiss' Doctor Who: Nightshade.

Adapted by Kyle C Szikora, this new production stars Sylvester McCoy as the Seventh Doctor and Sophie Aldred as Ace, finding the classic Eighties team visiting the village of Crook Marsham, where an alien intelligence is on the loose. You can pick up this story alongside four other Doctor Who Novel Adaptations as part of a special money-saving bundle; available to download immediately on release, with complimentary digital copies included with all CD orders.

There's even more Doctor Who ahead to look forward to, including Wendy Padbury's upcoming appearances as Zoe in both Doctor Who – The Companion Chronicles: The Second Doctor Volume 1 and in the Doctor Who Short Trips range. New details on the stories she'll be appearing in can be found here; check out a trailer below.

More news from our monthly range of Doctor Who Short Trips will be online this week – including news of our first 'Short Trip Special'. Stay tuned!

Just as we were packing up for the week, we heard word from the International Association of Media Tie-In Writers that five of our audio-dramas have been shortlisted for the 2016 Scribe Awards; a full sweep of the audio category for a second year in a row!

The short list is made up of Dark Shadows: Bloodlust by Alan Flanagan, Will Howells and Joseph Lidster, Dark Shadows: In the Twinkling of an Eye by Penelope Faith, Doctor Who: The Red Lady (part of Doctor Who: Doom Coaltion 1) by John Dorney, Doctor Who: Damaged Goods, adapted by Jonathan Morris from the novel by Russell T Davies and Pathfinder Legends – Mummy's Mask: Empty Graves by Cavan Scott. Good luck to all the nominees when the awards are presented at San Diego Comic Con in July!

That's all for this week, but join us soon for more news and releases from the worlds of Big Finish!
