Some huge new Doctor Who announcements and even more Fourth Doctor! Don’t miss a trick in the Big Finish roundup.

At the time of writing we have a whole host of offers on tales featuring the Fourth Doctor, Tom Baker.

You can pick up any release from series one to series four inclusive of the Fourth Doctor Adventures at £5 on CD or £2.99 on download. We also have special offers on Philip Hinchcliffe Presents Volume 01 with Tom Baker and Louise Jameson and The Lost Stories, The Fourth Doctor Box Set, which contains two lost stories originally from the era based on scripts that never made it to our television screens. Or there are the Fourth Doctor Novel Adaptations. Based on novels that were released after the cancellation of Doctor Who in 1989, these Fourth Doctor tales have been made into full-cast audio dramas. Monday saw the announcement that The Diary of River Song is all set to continue as Alex Kingston will be reprising her role as River Song for another three series, at least. Having encountered the Doctor’s Sixth and Seventh incarnations in Series Two, and the Eighth in Series One, River Song will be brushing past a couple more Doctors in her future. Let’s hope she doesn’t trip over any long scarves… in Series Four River will be encountering the Fourth Doctor, played by Tom Baker. More details on this series will be announced in the future.

Tuesday we looked at this month’s Vortex, which has all the behind the scenes information on the Tenth Doctor Adventures Volume 2 starring David Tennant and Billie Piper. And this month’s Listeners Title was announced – get the audiobook tale of Survivors, written by Terry Nation and read by Carolyn Seymour, this month for just £2.99 a download.

On Wednesday, and coming in June 2018 from the Worlds of Doctor WhoJenny: the Doctor's Daughter! She's back, and the universe better be ready for her. Georgia Tennant (née Moffett) is returning to the world of Doctor Who in Jenny: The Doctor’s Daughter, four new adventures that will be out next year.

On Thursday more details were announced on Gallifrey: Time War. Lalla Ward, Louise Jameson and Sophie Aldred are joined by Derek Jacobi as the War Master in the depths of the Time War for this new chapter of Gallifrey.

And on Saturday, Kenny Smith, Vortex editor, discovers what two popular Dark Shadows characters do when they’re away from Collinwood in an interview with producers Joe Lidster and David Darlington.

For podcast fans Toby Hadoke returns with the only Who's Round to cover David Bowie, Robert Redford and Rentaghost, and Nick and Benji have guest star: Gareth David-Lloyd (Ianto Jones in Torchwood) and a drama tease of Tenth Doctor and Ice Warriors (with David Tennant and Billie Piper)!
