That Was The Week That Was

12 March 2017

Join us for a walk through the week at Big Finish...

We started the week by announcing four new titles celebrating Captain Scarlet and the Mysterons' 50th Anniversary, coming in September:

Tuesday saw the highly-anticipated release of the concluding adventures of our Eighth Doctor series, Doctor Who - Doom Coalition, while the day after we confirmed full story details for the epic meeting of old and new in UNIT - The New Series: Assembled.

We released our two supernatural Jack Gerson audiobooks on Thursday, The Fetch and The Evil Thereof, while on Friday we took a further look at the upcoming Doctor Who - The Ninth Doctor Chronicles...

Saturday's news confirmed a Guy Adams script for Ben and Polly as the fourth story in Doctor Who - The Companion Chronicles: The First Doctor Volume 2, and also that the Daleks feature in the second tale.

This week's podcast spoke to Trevor Baxter, one half of our infernal investigating duo Jago & Litefoot, while Nicholas Briggs and Benji Clifford also covered listeners' letters, Big Finish news and a dramatic excerpt from Charlotte Pollard 2.

We leave you with the trailer for April's Doctor Who - Alien Heart / Dalek Soul. Join us next week for matters Torchwood and some studio news on an 2018 title...
