And last Sunday we had an announcement on the Baker Street boys! A new adventure for Sherlock Holmes and Dr John Watson will arrive in March next year – and all pre-orders will receive a special festive treat. With the new year fast approaching, on Tuesday we looked at what the First Doctor, will be getting up to in his adventures with a new, yet familiar, TARDIS crew. The First Doctor Adventures Volume One features two adventures starring the First Doctor, played by David Bradley, with Susan played by Claudia Grant, Barbara played by Jemma Powell and Ian played by Jamie Glover. This new version of the original TARDIS team was first brought together in 2013’s An Adventure in Space and Time, a docudrama from the BBC based on the life of the ‘first’ First Doctor, William Hartnell.
Ready for deployment on Wednesday, the UNIT team returned to face off against Daleks, Sontarans and UNIT’s greatest enemy… Four new missions for Kate Stewart (played by Jemma Redgrave) and the UNIT team await them in UNIT – Encounters, out now.
And released Thursday, six new tales for the Liberator crew on audio, read by Michael Keating. Blake's 7: Heroes features six stories by Trevor Baxendale, Paul Darrow, Jonathan L Howard, Una McCormack, LM Myles and Gary Russell. We interviewed the editor of these tales Xanna Eve Chown here.
